Caritas Ambassadors
As Caritas Ambassadors the children are leaders of social action in the school and responsible for sharing what they have learnt with those around them. They share the work of Caritas Westminster with others and have an increased understanding of the issues faced by our local community and how they and their fellow pupils can address these to create a fairer society.
They have undertaken training that focuses on the pupils developing their own ideas and taking responsibility for creating and running a social action project. The programme supported them to use Give, Act, Share, Pray model to design their project, looking at how they can give their time and skills to act to support those in need, and sharing this work with others through awareness raising and prayer.
They have developed their "Love in Action" action plan and will be working on this project for the rest of the academic year.
