How to Pray the Rosary

1. Make the Sign of the Cross
   Begin by touching your forehead, chest, left shoulder, and right shoulder while saying:
   "In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen."

2. Apostles' Creed
   On the crucifix, pray the Apostles' Creed, a summary of Christian beliefs.

3. Our Father
   On the first large bead, pray the Our Father, the prayer Jesus taught His disciples.

4. Three Hail Marys
   On the next three small beads, pray three Hail Marys—for faith, hope, and charity.

5. Glory Be
   On the next large bead, pray the Glory Be in praise of the Holy Trinity.

6. Announce the First Mystery & Pray the Our Father
   Before the next large bead, announce the first mystery (see below) and then pray the Our Father.

7. Ten Hail Marys
   On the next ten small beads, pray ten Hail Marys while meditating on the mystery.

8. Glory Be & Fatima Prayer
   After the ten Hail Marys, pray the Glory Be and the Fatima Prayer (Children's version):
   "O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from temptation, and lead all souls to Heaven, especially those in most need of Thy mercy."

9. Repeat Steps 6-8 for All Five Mysteries

10. Move through the five decades (sets of ten beads), meditating on a different mystery for each.

11. Closing Prayers
    After completing all five decades, pray the Salve Regina (Hail Holy Queen) and conclude with the Sign of the Cross.
