At Our Lady of the Rosary we follow Ten Ten Resources’ 'Life to the Full' programme. It is based on ‘A Model Catholic RSE Curriculum’ by the Catholic Education Service, which was highlighted as a work of good practice by the Department of Education. The programme teaches children about relationships, physical and emotional health, and their place in society in a way that is firmly rooted in Catholic teaching and the Gospel message of love.

The programme is built on a spiral curriculum, so that key ideas are revisited and deepened as children grow. Across the primary years pupils explore three core modules:

1. Created and Loved by God – understanding that each person is created unique and loved by God, with learning about body, mind, emotional wellbeing and the changes of growing up.
2. Created to Love Others – exploring family life, friendships and online relationships, and learning how to live out Christ’s call to love and respect others safely and responsibly.
3. Created to Live in Community – recognising our place in the wider world, understanding the common good and learning how Catholic Social Teaching calls us to serve and care for others.

Lessons use interactive films, stories, prayer and reflection, so that children encounter these truths in an engaging and age-appropriate way. The programme fully meets the statutory requirements for Relationships Education and Health Education while remaining faithful to the vision of the Church.

Parents are partners in this journey. Through Ten Ten’s secure Parent Portal, families can see what is being taught and find ways to continue the conversation at home.

By the end of primary school, children will have developed the knowledge, skills and values they need to build positive relationships, care for their own health and wellbeing, and play their part in the community — confident in their identity as children of God.
