Pupil Leadership
At Our Lady of the Rosary, we believe that every child is called to be a leader by following the example of Christ. Jesus shows us that true leadership is rooted in service and love. Our pupils are encouraged to grow as confident, compassionate young people who share their gifts for the good of others.
“The greatest among you will be your servant.”
Matthew 23:11
Through a wide range of opportunities, children learn that leadership is about putting faith into action. They help to shape our school community, care for creation, and support the wellbeing of others.
“Serve one another humbly in love.”
Galatians 5:13
These roles enable pupils to:
- listen to the voices of others and represent their peers
- live out the Gospel values of justice, peace and care for creation
- grow in confidence and develop skills for life beyond primary school
By recognising the unique gifts of every child, we help our pupils to become leaders in service, inspired by Christ the servant king. In this way, pupil leadership becomes an expression of our mission: to love God, to love others and to make a difference in the world.
