Pupil Chaplaincy Team

Our Pupil Chaplaincy Team helps to nurture the Catholic life of the school and to share the message of the Gospel with others. The children work closely with staff to plan and lead times of prayer, liturgies and Celebrations of the Word throughout the year. Their responsibilities include:

• preparing and leading class and whole-school liturgies and Celebrations of the Word
• leading assemblies for the Jubilee Year
• encouraging others to live out our mission of love and service
• welcoming visitors and supporting parish links

The team receives regular training and guidance from the school Religious Education Co-ordinator (REC) and has enjoyed opportunities such as working with Jo Boyce and the CJM Music team, focusing on bringing scripture to life through music and prayer. Through these experiences, the children grow in faith and confidence while helping their peers to encounter God in prayer and daily life.
