"Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God"
Romans 15:7
The Our Lady of the Rosary school community
At Our Lady of the Rosary, Staines, we are blessed with a vibrant, welcoming community grounded in our Catholic faith. Together, we strive to live out the Gospel values of love, respect and service. Every child and family is cherished, and every individual is recognised as made in the image and likeness of God.
Our school family is wonderfully diverse. More than a third of our pupils speak a language other than English at home, and we are enriched by families who bring a wide range of cultural traditions, identities and experiences.
This rich mix makes our school a truly special place. It strengthens our sense of community, encourages us to learn from one another and deepens our understanding of the wider world. We celebrate the unique gifts that each child brings and value the stories, languages and customs that shape who they are. In doing so, we nurture pupils to grow academically, spiritually and socially, confident in their place in our shared community.
We are proud to be a community where differences are not only welcomed but valued. Our strong relationships with families and our parish support us in creating a loving environment where all children feel a deep sense of belonging and are encouraged to flourish. Together, we learn to recognise God’s presence in ourselves, in one another and in the world around us, listening to and honouring the voices within our school.
Our location in Staines places us at the heart of a busy and diverse town. We work closely with our parish, neighbours and local organisations to respond to the needs around us. Through shared worship, parish celebrations, community events and charity partnerships, our children learn the importance of compassion, justice and service.
Our community is a place of welcome, where everyone is known, valued and loved.
