Crowning of Mary
Our whole school gathered together for our special Crowning of Mary liturgy, honouring our patronal saint during the month of May. The celebration included beautifully sung hymns, scripture readings, and role play based on key moments from Mary’s life in scripture, including the Annunciation and the Wedding Feast at Cana.
As part of our long-standing tradition, the youngest and oldest girls in the school had the special honour of crowning the statue of Mary.
We are incredibly grateful to our families for their generous donations of flowers, which adorned the hall during the celebration before being delivered to our senior neighbours at Grove Barns and Ashford House Care Home.
It was a truly special celebration of faith, community, and love.
